We couldn’t have done it with YOU. Our attendees, session facilitators, volunteers and sponsors are truly the best. Thank you all for another fantastic event and making the job of organizing so worthwhile.

Parking deets for tomorrow – important

Driving in Downtown St.Paul on Saturday mornings can tricky. Street construction and reroutes around the Farmer’s Market can complicate things.

Our advice: give yourself extra time and park in the TPT/Lowertown Parking Ramp (316 Jackson St.) which charges $3 for the day (cash only, needed to enter) and is only 1/2 block from CoCo. You can enter on Jackson or Sibley Streets. Construction sometimes forces the Sibley entrance to close. Just go around the block to enter on Jackson.

Our attendees deserve the best. As a result, fellow UnSummit coordinator Meg Canada and myself are willing to do (almost) anything to get our hands on the coolest conference shwag in town — Clockwork/Geek Girls Notebooks.

We danced for them last year. This year, you can vote on what we have to do. Today is the last day, so get your votes in now and then stay tuned for the results.

Our fate is in your hands.

You read that correctly, we’re getting the band back together! UnSummit4 will happen on June 26, 2010 at CoCo coworking & collaborative space in St. Paul.

More details will be forthcoming, but we can release a few tidbits right now:

The event will remain FREE. We continue to be entirely sponsor-supported. Interested in becoming a sponsor for the coolest event in town? Contact us.
The theme is “Solve for X” as you might have guessed from the photo above of one of our top-secret planning documents.
We will continue to push the boundaries of traditional conferences AND unconferences as well.
We need YOU! None of this would be possible without the support of our amazing local community. Very soon, we’ll be sharing all the ways to get involved.

What?!? Another one? Are we insane? Possibly. The plan is to have 2 events a year going forward. We’ll keep you posted when details for the next one come together.
